Guided Healing

If it isn't life giving, it isn't worth doing.


Reflecting on the past several years, I have been on a journey to find the piece (or peace) that has been missing.  If truth be told, my journey began in 2004 when my mother, who was also my dearest friend, was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer and died eight months later.
 
During that time my life was a whirlwind of sharing primary care giver duties with my father, working full time, attempting to deal with my own feelings, and being a shoulder for many of our family members all while trying not to send my significant other off screaming into the night.   I didn't realize just how out of control I was until mom passed over and I was left to sit and try to decipher what just happened. 
 
While out for a drive to clear my mind, I came across a wonderful little store called Angelic Voices in a nearby town.  The name caught my attention for obvious reasons so I wandered in and found myself in the most comfortable surroundings.  Everything about the place was angelic including the store owner, with her welcoming hugs.  Well unfortunately, the store is no longer there but that was where I started my journey.  The store carried a wide range of books on everything from Self-Help to New Age.  This is where I was introduced to the works of Doreen Virtue and the initial leg of my journey.
 
Soon after my visit, I received a newsletter from Angelic Voices that mentioned Mary Kush would be at the store conducting angel readings.  I just had to find out more about this and before I knew it, I was sitting in Mary's angel room at her house crying my eyes out and listening to the wonderful messages the angels had for me.  During that session I was told that I needed to work with my hands and Therapeutic Touch was what was presented to Mary by her guides.  On several occasions this same information was provided to me and eventually the timing worked and I was able to attend both Reiki and Therapeutic Touch training sessions and began my great appreciation for healing energy.  I am now a Reiki Master and Therapeutic Touch Practitioner.  I often return to the lessons I received through training and my time volunteering with many amazing people I met through Hospice. 
 
In 2007 I married my significant other and in 2009 my husband and I were blessed with a beautiful baby boy.  As I was running from work to latchkey to home and back again I was getting that inkling that there was something missing.  That feeling that there is a purpose that hasn't quite shown itself yet...just out of reach but still close enough to continue trying to grasp...a feeling of knowing something is hiding behind all of the other clutter in my mind...something that I have forgotten.  Is it just me or am I crazy?

So, I started doing a little peaking around corners and my next adventure was jumping into regression hypnotherapy training specializing in Past Life Regression Therapy.  I was certified as a regression hypnotherapist in 2016 and I'm thoroughly enjoying watching the realization cross the faces of the people I work with during a session.  The stories shared in these sessions are truly amazing...mind blowing at times and heart wrenching at others. 

While my work with Reiki, Therapeutic Touch and now Regression Therapy continue, I have also been amazed by the teachings I have received in the world of Shamanic Journeying.  I am in complete awe!
